When you become a parent life changes somehow, but that doesn’t mean you have to give up your hobbies. E.g. Riding a bike can be possible when you have children. If you like riding, when you have a child you can carry him or her with you. We have many options for them to be comfy and enjoy the ride. No matter the age. They will love it!.<\/p>\n

But remember, safe is a must. Following the Spanish norm, It is forbidden to carry more than one kid per bike \u00a0<\/strong>and a proper\u00a0helmet is always required <\/strong>\u00a0for them. When a kid travels on a bike with us, we must use a safety and homologated <\/strong>system. That is It is not suitable neither allowed to carry a kid on the rear carrier.<\/p>\n

Best options to carry kids on a bike.<\/h2>\n

Rear chair:<\/h3>\n

That’s the most common option and can be found in every bike shop. They are available in a wide range of prices but you better attend to the safety, comfort and most important the clamping system must be compatible with your bike.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

According to our own experience these chairs work perfectly, but we overall recommend them for kids aged more than 18 months. In case they are younger attention must be paid in order for them to be comfy when they get asleep. If the chair doens’t support their head must become uncomfortable.<\/p>\n

These bikes can be used for kids up to 20-22 kg. The worst point about them has to do with visibility, <\/strong>\u00a0you will need to turn around your head to check the kid or talk to him or her and that is not very practical.<\/p>\n

\"bicis<\/a><\/h3>\n

Front Chair:<\/h3>\n

Front chairs are for the youngest, up to 18kg, but they have, in our opinion, the best clamping system. Another advantages of this option is that you always have your kid in sight and they have available a front panel where that can be used as a support when asleep.<\/p>\n

Tandem or Co-pilot:<\/h3>\n

This is suitable for the biggest children, from 4 to 9 years, that can ride their own bike. We can use them when the itinerary is crowded or the distance is long. Kids have fun but they are all time under parental supervision. With this accesorie Co-pilot de WeeRide there are no stability or \u00a0safety problems.<\/p>\n

Trailers:<\/h3>\n

The one solutions to carry more than one kid (up to 30 kg). You can carry up to two kids and also some “baggage” on the back side. It is perfect for families as they can carry bags, balls and toys for the kids. It can be used as a kid carriage as it has a removable front wheel and a rear bar. So you can use it to practice some running.<\/p>\n
