Summer Cinema in Benidorm

From Friday August 19th the first edition of Benidorm Summer Cinema will take place in Mal Pas Beach in Benidorm, next to the Port. It’s a completely free event, and films will be shown at 22 p.m.

Films chosen are from Disney. They are three Oscar Winners for Best animated feature Film in its different editions.

Frozen the kingdom of ice

It will be shown on August 19th

Frozen is an animated film inspired by the classic tale of Hans Christian Andersen “The Queen of Snow”. It’s the winner of two Oscar prizes on 2014. Best Animated Feature and Best Song for “Let it go”. This song is performed in original version by the american actress and singer Idina Menzel, who also puts the voice for Elsa, the main character.

It’s, for the moment the highest grossing animated film in history.

Finding Nemo

On August 26th  the film shown will be “Finding Nemo”

Finding Nemo is an animated film from Disney Pixar. It tells the story of a fish called Marlin who goes finding his son Nemo together with his friend Dory. Dory is precisely the main character for the recently released “Finding Dory”.

This film won the Oscar on the Best animated feature film in 2003. It is also part of the top 10 highest grossing animated films in history.

It ranks fifth.

Brave

On Friday Septmeber 2nd  Brave will be shown:

Brave is an animated film produced by Disney and Pixar which tells the story of Merida, the daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. She decides to break some ancient customs and gets into dangerous adventures just to discover what real Brave is.

It was the winner from the Oscar on Best Animated Feature film in 2013 edition.
