Feel the land taste the sea.

A must for foodies and nature lovers!. Comfortable e-bikes, beautiful landscapes, friendly guides, paella and sangría are the ingredients of Altea Bike experience and Paella cooking class. A wonderful tour taking you outside Benidorm cycling along the coast and partly inlands towards to Altea’s Fishing Port where you will get the taste of its seafaring tradition.

Once there we will get the fresh fish to make our Seafood Paella when we come back to Benidorm.

The route

First, the excursion begins at Tao Bike Shop, at Benidorm’s Levante Beach. Where you will meet your guide who will assist you in every need you may have during the route. He will take you to discover the original fishing village of Altea riding most of the time on the bike line that surrounds the “Sierra Helada Natural Park” and passing through the heavenly Albir Beach where you will be delighted by its sights.

Then we will continue riding along the coast until we arrive to one of the loveliest towns of the Costa Blanca: Altea. Its turquoise waters and pure air will invite you to breath and feel the nature. At Altea’s Fishing Port you will dive into its seafaring atmosphere seeing the boats that bring the fresh fish daily. If we are lucky we could also see the fishing boats arriving to port and how they unload it!.

It’s exciting, isn’t it?.

Before leaving Altea we will stop at the fish shop to get all the necessary ingredients for our Seafood Paella. Then we will begin our route back to Benidorm following a different route to see the “Dry River” which just comes to life few times a year.

Cooking class

Arriving to our beautiful Cooking School we will teach you everything you need to know about cooking the perfect Seafood Paella and making delicious handmade Sangría. So be prepared to roll up your sleeves, tie on an apron and get cooking with this hands-on experience that you will never forget.

After you have spent the morning trying your cycling and cooking skills now is the time to enjoy your Paella and Sangría lunch. The perfect match to end this Costa Blanca foodie experience.
