Green ways in e-bike
Did you know that in the province of Alicante there are more than 60 km of green-ways spread over 6 different routes? In addition, all of them can be travelled by bicycle. Green-ways are routes conceived from disused railway routes adapted for the leisure of cyclists, walkers and in some cases people on horseback.
In Spain, more than 2,000 kilometres are covered by this type of route. These can travel from a few kilometres to distances that take a couple of days to be covered. generally these roads travel through places of great beauty where you can enjoy the local landscape. But also in most cases, these roads are made up of tunnels and viaducts that make the journey something really interesting and not monotonous.
Of the roads that run in the province of Alicante, the longest has a total of 22 km, is the Green-way Maigmó that runs between the town of Agost with the Port of Maigmó. And there are other 5 routes that are distributed by all the provincial geography.
In all the Valencian Community the kilometers conditioned in this type of route are more than 150 and the total of routes 10. An excellent idea for the lovers of the field, to dedicate a day to transit by one of these routes, to stop in its beauty and, why not? to enjoy a picnic.
